St. Peter’s Health Partners Medical Associates (SPHPMA) is pleased to announce that Albany Cardiothoracic Surgeons (ACTS) has joined the medical group effective July 1, 2022.
ACTS is the oldest cardiac surgery practice in the capital region dedicated to cardiothoracic surgery. Founded in 1955, ACTS has a long tradition of working as a coordinated team to provide expert, high quality, and compassionate cardiothoracic surgical care. ACTS is the exclusive Cardiac Surgery Provider at St. Peter’s Hospital (SPH).
The cardiothoracic team performs both minimally invasive surgeries and the most complex and difficult surgeries using the latest and most advanced techniques, with surgical results exceeding state and national standards.
