Cetera to Host DEIB Symposia Led by Advisors

Upcoming Women’s Impact Network and Black Advisor Community Symposia Represent Live Events Featured in Cetera’s Connect2Impact Series

LOS ANGELES, October 5, 2022 /PRNewswire/ — Cetera Financial Group, one of America’s largest networks of financial professionals, announced that its Fall Connect2Impact series will focus on the impact that black women and advisors can make in their local communities and the financial services profession. The events will take place October 10-12, 2022in Nashville, TN and are hosted by Cetera’s Diversity and Inclusion Advisory Council. The series includes two in-person symposia: the Women’s Impact Network Symposium and the Cetera Black Advisor Community Symposium, which aim to create a positive and collaborative experience to build community, foster connections, and engage in peer-to-peer learning. Events are designed by advisors, for advisors.

The Women’s Impact Network Symposium will connect, empower, develop and inspire women and their allies across Cetera while celebrating women’s leadership. Participants will gain new perspectives on strengthening their practice and overcoming barriers, while igniting their passion for the profession and working with others to drive it forward.

The Cetera Black Advisor Community Symposium will connect Black advisors and allies at Cetera to build community and gain unique insights from their peers on how to strengthen practices. With presentations from dynamic speakers on a wide range of topics, Cetera aims to highlight and celebrate the successes of Black counselors in Cetera communities.
